Celebrating National Women Physicians Day

2/3/2018

Join us in celebrating National Women Physicians Day on Feb. 3 to honor the birthday of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell who, in 1849, became the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States. National Women Physicians Day was first celebrated in 2016 to recognize the importance of female physicians’ roles in medicine. On Feb. 3, and throughout the year, we want to recognize the many accomplishments of our female physicians:

Anna M. Dumont, D.O., primary care sports medicine
Judith H. Esman, M.D.,

Anna K. Gaines, M.D.,

Megan Groh Miller, M.D.,

Betsy F. Shook, M.D.,
